Duck Hunting in North Carolina

Duck hunting in North Carolina can be a highly rewarding experience, especially with a group of your friends, and a few lifelike decoys to help you with your catch. Places in North Carolina such as the Pamlico & Currituck sound are a few hot spots for pintails, redheads, and canvasbacks. Wood ducks, however, can be found in different swamps, marshes, and any forested wetlands. Typically, wood ducks or “woodies” start their ventures 45 minutes before sunrise and again about 30 minutes after sunset.

Whether you’re bringing in a wood duck you caught in the marshes, or a redhead you caught down in the Pamlico Sound, you can bring in your harvest here at Tim Knight Taxidermy. We offer lifelike duck mounts for your special harvests so that you can bring your trophy back to life and treasure it for a lifetime!

*Do not wrap in paper, as this will draw out the moisture from your harvest. Wrap in plastic and freeze until delivery.*
